Thank You!!! Everyone who passes by this site, we (Rob and I) would like to thank you. The site has been alive for less than a week, and we've received 1000 hits! Granted some may have come from us, but we appreciate your support anyway. We're confident our view count will continue to sky rocket like it has been for the past few days, but we'd like to see the number of our members sky rocket as well. We need feedback on our articles, and we'd like to hear what you guys think about the issues. We'd loove to debate with you, because we ourselves are NBA fans just like you.
So please, register and become a member, and we promise to keep bringing it with the articles. Again, thank you so much for visiting.

Looking at the Net's roster, you'll notice they are forward-heavy. Which is why it makes sense they would want to deal Stromile Swift, Sean Williams, or Trenton Hassell. Who will the Nets bring with them to Brooklyn?

I like previewing games that aren't on any national television station(TNT, ESPN, NBATV)so here goes:

I feel weird calling them the OKC Thunder after calling them the Seattle Supersonics my whole life. I'm not a big fan of change, so i'm still pissed that there\ is a new team in the NBA, but just because there is a new team, doesn't mean there are new players. Last season, the Seattle Sonics(Now Thunder) beat the Timberwolves in three of their four meetings, the results looked like this:
game 1: Win 99-88
game 2: Win 109-90
game 3: Win 111-108
game 4: Loss 121-116
I expect this game to be in the 90's or 100's also, because the Thunder are 29th in the league in defense(Minnesota 17th). They both rank in the 20's offensively, but the D will make both offense go up.
Who was the star player for the Thunder in the Sonic-Wolves matchup last season? It was actually Chris Wilcox, check out his stats
game 1: 19 points, 11 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 turnover on 8-15 FG...he was a +16 on lenovo stats
game 2: 14 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, 1 turnover on 7-11 FG..he was a +20 on lenovo stats
game 3: 18 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks on 8-15 FG..he was a +15 on lenovo stats
game 4: 20 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 2 turnovers on 8-11 FG...he was a -3 on lenovo stats
Key to win?
- Chris Wilcox has destroyed the Timberwolves, and while Al Jefferson is a great offensive player, his defense still needs some polishing. Look for Wilcox for the easy buckets if you want to win.
- Minnesota has gotten great help from their bench led by rookie Kevin Love and guard Rashad McCants. Don't let them contribute too much so Wittman will be forced to put his starters back in and have them tired out by the fourth.(If Wittman is even that smart of a coach)

As you already know, the Timberwolves lost the series between them and the (then)Sonics 1-3. They do have a new shooter in Mike Miller, who hasn't been doing that well for the Wolves so far, but now is the perfect time for him to get out because he has owned the (then)Sonics while he was a Grizzly.
Mike Miller in 4 games against the Sonics:
game 1: 20 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 turnovers on 7-15 shooting, 6-10 three pointers. He was a +10 on lenovo stats
game 2: 19 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 turnover on 6-12 shooting, 3-4 three pointers. He was a +18 on lenovo stats
game 3: 25 points, 4 rebounds, 3 turnovers on 9-17 shooting, 6-9 three pointers. He was a +23 on lenovo stats
game 4: (Only played 11 minutes) 7 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist. He was a +4 on lenovo stats
Great games by Mike Miller, especially his three-point shooting. I was hoping that Al Jefferson would open shots for Mike Miller, but that just isn't happening right now(Mike Miller has been trying to create for himself from what i've seen)..I'll give it time though.
Who has been the star player for the Timberwolves in the series? Al Jefferson, that wasn't so hard to guess.
Check it out:
game 1: 22 points, 16 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 turnover on 8-18 shooting. He was a -18 on lenovo stats
game 2: 17 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, 2 turnovers on 7-17 shooting. He was a -32(damn) on lenovo stats
game 3: 30 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 turnovers on 13-29 shooting. He was a +3 on lenovo stats
game 4: 16 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, 2 blocks, 2 turnovers on 8-13 shooting. He was a -12 on lenovo stats(In a win too)
Keys to win:
-Randy Foye. Where is the Villanova star we all saw in college that was slicing and dicing to the hoop at will? Randy Foye has become too passive(I know he's a point guard). He needs to step up as an offensive weapon because 3-14 shooting isn't going to cut it. His fans are waiting for this kid to breakout, but the only thing that's breaking is his offense.
-Ball movement. From what I saw against the Mavericks, Al Jefferson had Zach Randolph syndrome; once you get the ball, it never leaves your hands. Al needs to be able to kick it out to his 3pt shooters in Mike Miller, Randy Foye and Rashad McCants who all shot above 40% from three last year. Just swing the ball around and eventually you will hit the open man.
My pick to win tonight?
Timberwolves. I haven't been wrong, yet.

5. Brook Lopez(New Jersey Nets) 10 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 2 blocks, 3 turnovers on 4-7 shooting(I didn't like that he fouled out)
4. OJ Mayo(Memphis Grizzlies) 16 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 5 turnovers on 7-15 shooting and 2-2 three-point (His 5 turnovers keeps him behind Rudy)
3. Rudy Fernandez(Portland Trailblazers) 20 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal, 1 turnover on 8-13 shooting (Very good shooting night, that's why he is #3 even if he barely contributed in any other stat. OJ lovers don't hurt me!)
4. Michael Beasley(Miami Heat) 25 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks, 1 turnover on 10-16 shooting
5. Derrick Rose(Chicago Bulls) 26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 turnovers on 11-20 shooting
Honorable mention:
Jason Thompson(Sacramento Kings) 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 turnover on 5-7 shooting
Bust of the night:
Nobody..I was going for Hibbert, but he actually contributed, go figure...
Rob's top rookie performer tomorrow night:
There are only two games going on tomorrow;
Knicks vs Bucks
Wolves vs Thunder
You have a pick of Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love, Joe Alexander or Danilo Gallinari.
I'll go with Kevin Love, too easy.
