Apparently you get paid to dunk on Greg Oden. According to a recent TrailBlazersCenterCourt.com story, players around the league are offering a reward to their teammates for dunking on Greg Oden. John Salmons gave K-Mart (above) $1000 dollars for doing the nasty on Greg Oden (no not like that). Not only does he expose Greg for not being the unstoppable shotblocker he's known for, he also exposed him by enabling the cameraman to snap a pic of Oden from behind, showing the world that bald spot. This proves that he IS NOT 20 years old, but atleast 30 like I knew all along. LOL, j/k, But back to the reward. Ricky Davis offers $500 (chump change Ricky. Get a new agent to get a better deal) to his Clippers teammates to do the same. And why not? Greg Oden has yet to play a minute of NBA basketball (refer ro Rob's post about his NBA regular season debut), but he DID average 3.3 blocks in college. He IS compared to the great Bill Russell, one of the best shot blockers of all time. Im curious to see if any other teams are doing this. I would like to see some highflyers get that money and put Greg Oden in a SLAM Magazine's Slamadamonth. I love Greg Oden (no homo) because he's on my fantasy team, but players being motivated to dunk on him is a great thing for all NBA fans like myself.
P.S. John Salmons sholdve given him like $750. This barely counts as a "dunk on". Greg's to the side. Ch'mon Lee!
