Knicks Add Some New Players

Its official, the Knicks got Al Harrington in exchange for Jamal Crawford. There had been rumors about the trade going down since Wednesday, and other rumors that Malik Rose was involved, but officially it was Jamal Crawford who was dealt. Harrington had been asking for a trade, and it will be interesting to see how Jamal will fit into the Warriors' offense.
Comparison:

Al Harrington- 12.4 ppg 5.6 rpg 2 apg
He's a decent 3-point shooter and at 6' 9" hes pretty versatile. He's a former 6th man of the year so you know he's solid, but he's also known to be inury prone. He's currently injured.

Jamal Crawford- 19.6 ppg 1.5 rpg 4.4 apg
Dude can drop 25 on you, but sometimes he can go 3/25 from the field. The man loves to shoot, and so does Stephen Jackson, his new teammate. He's a 'combo guard' which means he isnt a pure 1 or 2, but he has the ability to put up big numbers.

Also, the Knicks dealt away 260 pounds of Zach Randolph. Yes he averages 20 and 12, but he doesnt fit into Mike D'Antoni's run n' gun offense. Zach and Mardy Collins (???) were dealt to the Clippers for Cuttino Mobley and Tim Thomas. This is a good trade for both teams in my opinion. The Clippers can use Zach's scoring abilities, as the Clippers are only averaging 90.9 points a game as a team, allowing their openents to drop 100.7 on them. As for the Knicks, like I said they acquired a deadly 3-point shooter (not so deadly anymore, but when he was on the Suns he ruined my life as a Laker fan) in Tim Thomas *waves my hand in front of my face* and another solid guard in veteran Cuttino Mobley. The Knicks were already surprising, but it should be interesting to see what they can do with this new look. The Knicks reportedley wanted Marcus Camby back (he was a beast in NY), but the Clippers wouldnt have it.
Comparisons:

Zach Randolph- 20.5 ppg 12.5 rpg 1.4 apg
Normally you dont trade away 20 and 12 unless your getting back 20 and 12, but Zach has always been known to be out of shape, and like Marbury, wasnt part of the "new direction" D'Antoni wants to go with. Good luck Zach, he's always been one of my favorites.
Mardy Collins- 2.2 ppg .9 rpg 1.1 apg
Dont know this guy as I dont follow the Knicks. I assume he was thrown in the trade for shits and giggles.

Tim Thomas- 9.5 ppg 4.6 rpg 1 apg
Hmm, hes currently shooting 30% from 3, something I said was his strength. Nonetheless. he CAN make them and DOES make them when they count. Big time player and isnt scared to take that shot at the end of games. And hes dark as fuck.
Cuttino Mobley- 13.6 ppg 2.6 rpg 1.1 apg
A solid guard who averages a cool 13 ppg. He can come off the bench and give the Knicks a spark, because he's very reliable. He should fit right in with the Knicks.
And the best news out of all of this is...
Stephon Marbury will be activated!!! They need a minimum amount of players to dress, and after trading away 3 players, they need another body on the bench. Dont expect him to play though. He will still be sitting, just wearing Knicks apparel.
Bust out the Warm-Ups Mr. Marbury! Youre dressing tonight!
Stephon Marbury- 0 ppg 0 rpg 0 apg 0 minutes played
LOL, love ya Steph! No homo.
